This beautiful natural white yarn comes directly from Keisel, one of the alpacas raised and cared for right here on our farm.

Long before Keisel’s fiber becomes yarn, we spend an entire year helping him grow the best fleece possible. Good nutrition, fresh air, exercise and daily care are all part of the process. Then, once a year, Keisel is carefully sheared, giving us the fiber he has spent the past year growing.

His fleece is sorted and prepared before being sent to a small fiber mill, where it is cleaned, processed and spun into this beautiful 3-ply bulky weight yarn.

And that gorgeous creamy white color? That’s Keisel’s natural color—no dye needed.

Run this yarn through your fingers and you’ll understand what makes alpaca so special. It has a wonderfully soft, silky feel and smooth glide, making it as enjoyable to work with as it is to wear.

Alpaca is exceptionally warm without feeling heavy and contains no lanolin, making it considered hypoallergenic and a wonderful option for many people with sensitive skin.
